The best new white pants have a slightly looser leg like this trouser style from Gap (looser leg means less chance of visible panty lines.) I like white pants for summer office wear because they are polished enough to look professional while still being summery.

For this look I paired the white trouser pants with a crisp tan striped blazer by Ellen Tracy; blush patent oxfords from Steve Madden felt appropriately menswear-like while being slightly feminine in a soft color. To round out the look, I added tortoiseshell frames from Diane von Furstenberg.
